The challenge
The World Cup brought weeks of matches and visitors to the Bay Area. Fans wanted somewhere to watch with other people, and the Chamber’s member businesses wanted those fans through their doors. A list of bars doesn’t help someone who doesn’t know anyone, and no single venue can run a citywide event on its own.
What we set up
- A public campaign page where fans signed up and picked their team and their part of the city.
- Crew matching: fans were grouped with others nearby who follow the same team, and each crew got a group chat.
- Routes between member venues, and a passport: fans checked in at a venue by scanning its QR code.
- Watch-party listings, so fans could see which venues showed which match.
- For members: we loaded the Chamber’s member list and invited each business to claim its page, with a guided setup and a Social Kit to post from.
- B2B matching, so member businesses could find each other and message about working together.
What happened
Muni Goal Rush ran from June 11 to July 19, 2026. The campaign counted 5,000+ fans matched, 108 venues across 11 districts and 40+ B2B partners.
Everything built for Goal Rush is now part of Bridgit’s campaign platform. The next campaign, citywide or in one neighborhood, is set up, not built from scratch.
